I am Ilka Paling, a Fashion Technology student of Heriot-Watt University in the School of Textiles and Design, in Scotland.
I am doing research with regard to sourcing, and conducting tests on, various fabrics suited to the needs of Lipoedema patients. These fabrics are to be later used in a compression garment range.
This study is being done in collaboration with Lipoedema UK and Jobskin which has enabled us to get opinions and feedback (on the study) from experienced professionals in this field.
This research has received ethics approval.

The research will be an online survey for approximately 30 minutes. The survey will be open from the 30th of September until the 31st of October.
We will not ask any personally identifiable information in this survey and by completing this survey, you are giving us your permission to use the results for the publication of the research in March 2019.
