Manufactured from a polycotton Lycra material, these lycra garments help to improve sensory and proprioceptive feedback, musculo-skeletal support and alignment, postural control and proximal stability.  Assists people with abnormal muscle tone to achieve control over movement when suitable sensory feedback is provided. 

The range can also be used in the management and reduction of abnormal tone in neurological conditions including Cerebral palsy, Acquired brain injury, Acquired spinal injury, Cerebellar ataxia, Spina bifida, CVA/Stroke, Multiple Sclerosis. Also for the management of conditions with joint instability and sensory deficit including persistent low tone, inherited conditions such as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Hypermobility and joint laxity. A kit is available to therapists to assess whether this treatment will assist in the management of patients with poor postural control, decreased proximal stability, decreased sensory feedback and prior to making the decision for a made to measure SDO garment.
